Cape Breton Regional Police have a suspect in custody.
Just before 4:30 Wednesday morning an alert was issued for a dangerous man believed to be travelling in the CBRM with a firearm.
According to an update just before 7 a.m., the alert has ended and there is no further threat to public safety.
