The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is monitoring three separate outbreaks.

The Transitional Care Unit at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center and the 2 North – Medically Complex Services Area at St. Joseph’s Hospital are both dealing with COVID-19 outbreaks.

Bethammi Nursing Home is dealing with an unidentified respiratory outbreak on the 3rd floor.

Meanwhile, a COVID-19 and clostridioides difficile outbreak at the TBRHSC were both declared over.

Outbreaks are declared when symptoms increase amongst the residents.
