RCMP are alerting the public, they are looking for a man at large with an axe.
Police say it was Wednesday morning when they responded to a report of a man in distress at a home in the 100 block of West Petpeswick Rd.
He damaged the home with an axe and ran into the woods.
Police say Brandon Crawford Grant, age 26, is wanted under a province-wide arrest warrant.
He is described as 6’4, 300 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
Thursday morning, RCMP remained in the area, but as of Thursday afternoon they moved on.
Twin Oakes Memorial Hospital and The Birches are no longer under lockdown and Eastern Shore District High School lifted it’s hold and secure.
Update 1:10 p.m.: Officers continue to investigate the whereabouts of Brandon Grant, who remains wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant. All possible known locations were checked with multiple structures cleared.
