Halifax Regional Police continue to investigate a murder that happened in Dartmouth two years ago.
The second anniversary of the homicide of Nelson Tyrelle Beals was June 11th.
Early that morning in 2022, officers responded to a report of shots fired on Viscaya Place and found 34-year-old Beals shot dead at a home.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service conducted an autopsy and ruled the manner of death to be a homicide.
Investigators believe there are people who know something that could help solve the case.
Police say it’s never too late to come forward and the smallest piece of information may be just what’s needed to progress the investigation.
