RCMP took a man into custody after an incident in Lunenburg.
At about 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, RCMP posted on X that officers were in the Archibald Street area looking for a man in distress.
They said they did not believe there was any threat to the public, but that residents would see a police presence.
In an update shortly after 2:30 p.m., the Mounties said the man was in custody and that officers would be leaving the area.
Police provided no further details.
Update: The man is in custody; officers will be leaving the area shortly.
