Parked OPP cruiser struck by impaired driver

By Randy Thoms Feb 28, 2024 | 1:50 PM

A Fort Frances woman is facing charges following a collision involving a police cruiser.

It happened Tuesday night on Third Street East in Fort Frances.

OPP say officers were dealing with a separate incident when an approaching vehicle collided with their parked cruiser.

There were no injuries to the officers or the driver of the other vehicle.

However, the 20-year-old was arrested and charged with impaired driving.

She was later released and will appear in court later in March.
