Three teens are facing assault and weapons charges after an incident at a high school in Upper Tantallon.

RCMP say it was around 9:30am Friday morning when two youths assaulted another outside Bay View High School.

When the fight transitioned inside the lobby, the third sprayed an irritant putting the school in a lockdown, then a hold and secure, which was lifted shortly after 12pm.

The suspects and two school employees had minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The teens, two facing Assault charges and the third facing Assault with a Weapon charge, have been released on conditions and will appear in court later this month.

RCMP say the incident was targeted.
