The Beyak Automotive Group is ensuring the Salvation Army in Fort Frances can provide a turkey to families collecting a Christmas hamper this year.
Beyak’s is providing funding to purchase 80 turkeys.
It is the fourth year that the Beyak Automotive Group has come forward with support.
Spokesperson Holly Kaemingh says they are happy to lend a hand.
“So we’re so fortunate to be able to give back to a wonderful organization within our community and help make a Christmas meal that much more delicious for many families across the district,” says Kaeminigh.
Demand for the Salvation Army’s services is on the rise this year.
Auxiliary Captain Arthur Heathcote is appreciative of the ongoing support.
“It means a well-rounded, good, wholesome turkey for Christmas this year. And turkey brings families together. And that’s one of the neat things about Beyak. They’re very community-oriented, very community spirited, and this means a tremendous amount, not only for the Salvation Army, but for the community as a whole,” says Heathcote.
