The unofficial kick-off to the holiday season in Halifax is being postponed due to a forecasted storm.
The Parade of Lights was set to happen this weekend but organizers have decided to push the event ahead to Saturday, November 25.
Halifax is set to get hit with heavy rain and wind on Saturday and organizers made the decision to hold out for better weather later this month.
The parade will now happen the same night as the tree lighting in Grand Parade.
