A 60-year-old man has died in an ATV crash in Inverness County.

RCMP say Sunday night crews responded to a trail in Southwest Mabou where an ATV had landed in a ditch.

The injured driver and sole rider, a Rankinville man, was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation into the cause of the collision continues.
