Thousands lined the Halifax waterfront for International Fleet Week Sunday afternoon.
The weather was warm and sunny for the parade of ships that filled the harbour at noon, kicking off Cutlass Fury, a multi-national exercise between allies.
The city was bustling over the last several days for fleet week with events such as ship tours and fireworks.
Service members from all over the country were in town as well as from the U.S. Germany, England and France.
Saved the most spectacular event for last — we closed out #HfxFleetWeek with a parade of ships that drew thousands to the Waterfront to salute our Navy sailors! ⚓️ pic.twitter.com/zdavo18kqS
