Police are investigating after a man cut another man with a knife in downtown Halifax.
It was July 8, shortly 2:45am, police say there was an altercation between two groups of people, not known to each other, on Sackville and Markets streets.
A man from one of the groups, cut a man from the other group with a knife and then ran away.
He was injured but treated at the scene.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s around 5’10, medium build with brown/blonde hair, with a receding hairline. He had a full beard, wearing a black and gold floral shirt and grey shorts.
