Gas prices dip ahead of carbon tax increases

Heading into a long weekend, and motorists will be gassing up.

Prices are down this morning after the Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustment.

The maximum cost for regular self serve is down 4.4 cents a litre to 161.4.

Many stations are selling for around 158.3 this morning..

Diesel also dipped by 4.5 cents to a maximum of 159.5.

Better get your tank filled today though.

Carbon tax hikes will see prices rise again on July 1st.
