Time is running out to get your tickets for the Inaugural fundraising gala supporting Moncton Headstart.

They must be purchased by 10 am this morning.

Executive Director Caroline Donnelle says this supports a longstanding charity in the community, “We’re funded to run some of our programs and pay for our staff but we don’t have funds to do some other things like fix the roof and make improvements to the building or provide additional services to parents and children.”

The gala will be held on May 18 at the Delta Beausejour.

“It will replace a whole roster of other charitable events, but it is also an educational opportunity. Sistema will be playing and the Former Deputy Director of the Child and Youth Advocate is going to talk about an overview of child and youth support services over the past 17 years in the province. It will be a fantastic evening with food and entertainment,” Donnelle says.
