It looks like school support staff and the province have a tentative deal in place.
According to CUPE and the province, terms were reached overnight
The Nova Scotia School Board Council of Unions resumed negotiations with government this week.
The workers have been calling for wage increases across the board, to help with the rising cost of living.
The deal still needs to be voted on by members – who would have been in a legal strike position on Friday.
