Overall satisfaction with the performance of the Higgs government has declined according to Narrative Research in its latest quarterly poll.

The survey shows higher dissatisfaction in Greater Moncton and in northern New Brunswick.

The Liberals continue to lead in voter support if a provincial election were held today and the party is more popular up north.

The Progressive Conservatives have the greatest strength across the south.

Support for the Green Party edged up slightly while New Democrats remained flat and the People’s Alliance barely registered with voters.

Liberal leader Susan Holt is the most preferred to be premier followed by the Green Party’s David Coon and sitting premier Blaine Higgs comes in third.

The phone survey was conducted from November 2-27 and included 611 New Brunswick adults.
