Five men are facing obstructing justice charges after a shooting in Dartmouth.
It was late Thursday morning when a man with gunshot wounds was found near Wright Avenue and Garland Avenue. The 23-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say it was just before 3 p.m. that day when an officer noticed a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the road on Burnside Drive near Wright Avenue.
Two men were out of the car and seemed to be looking for something. Three others were in the car, including the shooting victim.
Two loaded guns were seized.
All five, ranging in age from 19-56, were scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
