We’re down to the final weekend for the Yarmouth Mariners.

Four players are graduating from the team this year.

Liam Dutcher of Stephenville, Newfoundland was acquired in an offseason trade, and became one of the team’s top goal-scorers.

Dutcher says Yarmouth is a great place to play.

“I already felt welcome when I got here. The fans are great, the coaching staff and the boys are awesome, I couldn’t ask for anything else,” said Dutcher.

He says he made some great memories this year.

“I think I’ll remember hanging out with the boys, we have a tight group in that dressing room, we’re all great friends.”

Dutcher has 19 goals this season, one back of Grayson Pardy and Cole MacLeod for the team lead.

He’s looking to continue his hockey career next season.

The Mariners host Valley Saturday night, and Amherst on Sunday afternoon in their season finale.
