A youth was sent to hospital Tuesday, after another student assaulted them with scissors at a Halifax school.
Police say it happened around 11:40 a.m., at St. Agnes Junior High on Mumford Road.
The suspect was arrested on the scene.
The victim was hurt but no other injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, the Nova Scotia Teachers Union says their thoughts are with the students, staff and families as they “cope with this troubling incident”.
