Break and enter of fire department case adjourned

The man charged for a break-in at a fire department in Guysborough County was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, February 25.

RCMP say the theft occurred at Seven Communities Volunteer Fire Department on Hwy. 344 in Hadleyville in October 2025.

There were backup fuel and donated prizes for their grand opening stolen, while essential tools and equipment needed for firefighting were left.

Brent Chisholm has been charged with break and enter with intent.

The 27-year-old from Summerside is scheduled to attend Antigonish Provincial Court on March 4 for election and his plea.
