A small police presence remains in the Armdale area of Halifax after a weapons complaint, Wednesday morning.

According to police, two people reported being threatened with a gun, just before 8 a.m.

Three people were allegedly fighting when one threatened the other two with a gun. The suspect then left the scene but was believed to be inside a home on Kelly Street.

One man was treated at the scene.

Two women have been taken into custody; however, the suspect remains at large.

He is described as Black, around 35 years old, 6 feet tall, wearing a grey track suit.

The incident is not believed to be random.
