Witneses are wanted after a hate motivated incident in Musquodoboit Harbour.

RMP say it was at the Eastern Shore Community Centre Arena on February 6 between 7:40 p.m. and 8 p.m.

It was directed toward a youth refereeing hockey.

Details at this time, remain few, but if you have any information you are asked to call police to speak with the Community Action Response Team.

Meantime, Hockey Nova Scotia says they are aware of the incident and say they remain committed to a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone involved in hockey.
