Five candidates are vying for two town council seats that were recently vacated following resignations. The official list includes:
- Kevin Boon
- Michelle Gryphon
- Bill Lewis
- Katherine McCarron
- Cathie Slaughenwhite‑Nowe
The election will be conducted entirely online or by phone, using a unique PIN mailed to eligible voters. Electronic voting opens at 8 a.m. on February 5 and continues until 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Residents who need assistance with electronic voting can visit Mahone Bay Town Hall, 493 Main Street, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays from February 5–13, and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on February 14.
Voters who did not receive a PIN or who are not on the list of electors but are otherwise eligible can contact Clare Blyth, Assistant Returning Officer, at 902‑521‑2487, with ID required to be added.
