One man was stabbed after two men wearing masks attacked him at home in Lower Sackville.

The RCMP says it happened just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday in the 100 block of Alder Crescent.

They say two men were wearing masks when they knocked on the door and then kicked it in.

The victim confronted them and they sprayed the man with a sensory irritant and then stabbed him.

Officers say his injuries were non-life-threatening and he taken to hospital.

They describe the suspects as men, and say one had red curly hair.
