The RCMP is making a new push for information in a missing person case that began in Moncton nearly 15 years ago.

The Codiac Regional RCMP said investigators are again seeking tips that could help locate Fred Byram, who disappeared on October 10, 2010.

Police said Byram, who was from Sainte‑Anne‑de‑Madawaska, was last seen leaving the former Rockin Rodeo on Elmwood Drive in a taxi.

Officers have followed several leads over the years, but none have led to answers.

At the time he went missing, Byram was 47 and described as five‑foot‑ten and about 170 pounds, with brown eyes, salt‑and‑pepper hair, a tattoo on his right arm and a gap between his upper front teeth.

“This missing person case has remained active since 2010, and our investigators have followed up on numerous leads over the years,” said Luc Picard, media relations officer for the Codiac Regional RCMP, in the release.

Picard stated that anyone with information, no matter how minor, is encouraged to contact the police.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information to call the Codiac Regional RCMP.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by phone, the P3 Mobile App or Secure Web Tips.
