The MLA for Yarmouth says it’s been a busy year in the role.

Nick Hilton won the seat for the Progressive Conservatives in the fall, 2024 election.

Reflecting on his first full year, Hilton says lots of projects are underway.

“Improvements at the Yarmouth hospital, housing on Shaw Avenue, and the Mariners Centre expansion is going to be completed in 2026. Yarmouth is prospering, and really happy to be a part of moving the area forward,” said Hilton.

He says affordability continues to be a challenge for Nova Scotians, and the Houston government will continue to invest in people here in the province.

“We’ll continue to support residents who may be struggling as we head into the winter season. We’ll continue to be there, and our office will continue to be open.”

Hilton adds that you’re always welcome to drop by his office to chat.
