By News Dec 16, 2025 | 12:38 PM

Police are looking for information after an SUV hit a house in Pictou County.

RCMP say it was December 13 just before 11 p.m. near the intersection of West River Road and High Street.

Two or three people got out of the car, removed the plate, and ran away before police arrived.

When officers did arrive, they found the vehicle left West River Road, hit the home, causing damage to the porch and siding.

No injuries were reported.

The car was not registered, and police believe the plates were stolen and a black dog could have been in the vehicle.

One of the suspects is described as a man, 5’5, with a thin build, believed to be wearing a hoodie while carrying a leather jacket.

The other, is a woman, 5’5, with a thin build and shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a black crop top.

Both appeared to be in their late teens or early twenties.

The third suspect is believed to be a man, but no description was available.

If you have information you are asked to call police.
