Be prepared for a large amount of snow in a short amount of time for parts of Nova Scotia.
A snow squall watch remains in effect for Pictou, Antigonish and western Cape Breton.
Environment Canada says there could be up to 25 cm with wind gusts up to 90 km/h overnight and into Friday.
Visibility could be near zero at times and travel could be hazardous.
In addition, there is a wind warning for Cape Breton Island and Antigonish County, with gusts that could reach 100 km/h.
The forecaster says to watch for alerts.
