Saint John Common Council will consider an amendment to the municipal plan that could revitalize the city’s north end.

Public notice was issued last week that a public presentation of the proposed amendment, adoption of the North End Neighbourhood Plan, will be held at the Dec. 15 meeting of council.

Neighbourhood plans are often used to shape growth and development in certain areas and are used to create proposals to revitalize an area of the city.

Written objections to the proposed amendment can be made to council, in care of the city clerk, until Jan. 14.
