RCMP indicated shortly before 10 p.m. Monday night that the scene had cleared and one person had been taken into custody.
No further details were provided.
There is a heavier police presence on a section of St. Margaret’s Bay Road, Monday evening.
In a social media post around 6:30 p.m., RCMP say they are responding to a person in distress on the 1400 block.
Around 7 p.m., RCMP evacuated the apartment building at 1407 St. Margaret’s Bay Road for public safety.
