A ‘police operation’ overnight in Lunenburg County.
RCMP said they were in the 1000 block of Woodstock Road in Clearland.
They had asked the public to not pick up any hitchhikers, and to report any suspicious people on roads or near their properties.
Police put out the notification around 1:30, then said they had cleared the area about an hour later.
