Most Canadians feel insulted over Donald Trump’s ’51st State’ talk.

The latest poll from Narrative Research shows 78 percent disagree with the U.S. president’s view on the subject.

Disagreement was highest in the Prairies, and among the Gen-Z age group.

However, 11 percent say they view it as a compliment and a term of endearment.

That’s also the view of the U.S. Ambassador to Canada, who recently said has said he doesn’t understand why Canadians are angry about Trump’s comments.
