Man from southwest N.S. dies in vehicle/pedestrian collision on Hwy 104

A man from southwest Nova Scotia died after being struck by vehicles in Pictou County.

It happened last night just before 7 on Highway 104 near Stellarton.

RCMP say the 45-year-old was walking on the westbound lane of the road and was hit, no word on how many vehicles were involved.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police don’t believe criminality was a factor, but the investigation is ongoing.
