A portion of Hampton Road will be closed Nov. 4 for sanitary sewer work.

The Town of Quispamsis announced the closure to thru traffic between Shadetree Lane and Sleepy Hollow Lane beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day, with normal traffic resuming Nov. 5.

Motorists can detour around the work via Shadetree Lane and Sleepy Hollow Lane.

Residents will be able to access their homes with the assistance of flag persons on site.
