SiRT looking for owners of 5 stolen bikes

By News Oct 30, 2025 | 12:47 PM

The province’s police watchdog is asking for the public’s help finding the owners of five stolen bikes, so they can be returned.

SiRT says they believe they were stolen and then sold by a Halifax police officer within the last year.

Const. Fallon Sarah Clarke was charged on Monday for allegedly selling the bikes and other stolen property.

The models are:

  • WheelSpeed Taurus (E-Bike)
  • IGO Metro Elite (E-Bike)
  • Specialized Step-Through (Pedal Assist – E-Bike)
  • Ride Rad – Rad Power Bike – Rad City (E-Bike)
  • Specialized Crave Carbon

These five bike are the only ones SiRT believes were stolen and then sold, according to a spokesperson from SiRT.

SiRT says they do not have other property that may have been sold by the officer, so information on potentially returning those items to their owners would come out through the court system.

Clarke will appear in court in November for charges of breaching trust in her role, false pretence, as well as obstructing another officer’s duties, and possessing property obtained by crime that is worth more than $5000.

You are asked to contact SiRT if you think one of the bikes belongs to you; and proof of ownership will be verified before one can be claimed.
