Soggy and wet.
That’s the best way to describe what it’ll feel like for Halloween.
Environment Canada has now issued rainfall warnings for areas including Saint John and County, Fundy, Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County, St. Stephen and Northern Charlotte County, and Sussex, Kennebecasis Valley and Kings County.
Between 40 and 60 millimetres of rain could fall, starting Friday morning. Winds are forecast to gust up to 70 kilometres an hour in some areas.
The rain is expected to lighten up throughout the day, but it’s still expected to be a rainy and wet evening for trick-or-treaters.
