Saint John Police have arrested another person in connection with a homicide in the north end on Oct. 20.
Police arrested a 35-year-old man on Oct. 27 at 12:20 p.m. in the area of Richmond Street.
The man appeared in Saint John provincial court Tuesday and was charged with first-degree murder. He’ll be back in court on Nov. 18.
The charge is connected to the death of a 41-year-old man in the early morning of Oct. 20.
Police responded to a 911 call in the area of Taylor Avenue and found the victim unconscious and suffering serious injuries. The victim was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on the afternoon of Oct. 20 and is facing charges of first-degree murder, possession of a firearm while prohibited and breach of probation.
The investigation is ongoing.
