Slight dip for N.B. fuel prices

Breaks across the board for motorists, but they are very small.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments overnight.

The maximum for regular self-serve dipped point three cents a litre to around $1.48.

Diesel is down 0.7 cents a litre to around $1.69.

Furnace oil decreased 1.0 a litre to around $1.64.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.35 to $1.40 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.56 and $1.60 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.43 per litre, diesel costs around $1.59 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.16 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
