A man has been killed in a two-vehicle crash in Newtown, near Sussex.

RCMP says the collision happened on Route 890 on Wednesday afternoon.

An eastbound car crashed into a minivan travelling in the other direction.

A 46-year-old Salt Springs man who was driving the car was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The driver of the minivan also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

RCMP, the Millstream Fire Department, Sussex Fire Department, and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to the scene.
