A ban on fishing certain species in Roseway Basin off Shelburne County.
The closure is because of North Atlantic right whales that were spotted in the area,.
It went into effect on Sunday at 5 p.m, and will remain until further notice, according to DFO.
It affects certain crab, groundfish, herring, mackerel, whelk and Atlantic hagfish.
