Fuel prices expected to dip in N.B.

Gas and diesel prices are expected to fall Thursday night, according to an industry source.

Both regular self-serve gasoline and diesel are expected to drop by around two cents per litre.

Maximum prices in the province currently range from $1.47 for regular self-serve and $1.52 for diesel.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.46 to $1.50 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.47 and $1.51 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.50 per litre, diesel costs around $1.57 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.15 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
