Cap-Acadie is seeking input as it works to develop a cultural action plan.

An online survey launched earlier in August will be available until Sept. 11.

The results will be the basis for in-person sessions, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

“The action plan will allow us to turn our cultural policy into concrete actions,” Mayor Serge Leger said in a news release.

Adopted by council last May, the cultural policy is built around four main pillars: accessibility to arts and culture, support for arts and culture, heritage preservation and promotion, and community identity.

Leger said the contribution of their citizens is essential to ensure the plan truly reflects their needs in terms of arts and culture.

Residents will receive a postcard in the mail explaining how to access the online survey.
