Fifty years of Digby Scallop Days.

The annual festival is already underway with lots of events.

A foam party is happening Friday night at the bandstand, with a fun run on Shore Road and music at Digby Centre.

Saturday it’s the children’s parade at 10 a.m. followed by the grand street parade on Warwick and Water streets.

On Sunday night, a scallop boat parade of lights on the waterfront along with the closing ceremonies.

A reminder, there will be no fireworks or ATV rally due this year due to the fire and woods ban in Nova Scotia.
