Five more New Brunswickers are being recognized for their dedication to the province.
The group will be invested into the Order of New Brunswick during a ceremony on Nov. 5 in Fredericton, according to a news release.
Dr. Rodney Oullette of Dieppe was honoured for his contribution to the scientific community, patient care and cancer research.
Rick Hutchins of Grand Lake was awarded for his sustainability work, music, education, and community development.
Cherrill Edwin Shea of Saint John was praised for her pioneering career and devotion to human rights and education.
Danielle Pelletier of Fredericton has been exceptionally dedicated to working with preschool children with autism spectrum disorder as well as their families.
And William Lloyd Hoyt, whose contributions to law, justice and world peace are felt locally, nationally and internationally.
Premier Susan Holt says the order is the province’s highest honour.
