Some changes for patients at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.

Riverside Health Care says it has moved it’s the ground-floor registration area at the hospital, to the main entrance off Front Street.

Patients who have a scheduled appointment, including those attending rehab, diagnostic imaging, surgery, chemotherapy, telehealth, laboratory or specialist clinics, are now asked to check in at this main entrance location.

Riverside says moving registration to the main entrance makes arriving at the hospital easier and more accessible

Emergency room patients are asked to continue to go into the Emergency Department registration area on the first floor.
