RCMP investigate 2 Antigonish reports of explosives

RCMP are investigating a couple of incidents involving explosives in Antigonish.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police and fire services responded to a report of several Molotov cocktails thrown at a home and vehicle on Martin Street.

Officers seized several glass bottles containing fuel.

Two people wearing black hoodies were seen leaving in a dark GMC vehicle.

Shortly after 4 a.m., police got a report of fireworks shot at a residence on Xavier Drive.

Investigators believe the two incidents are related.
