Striking educational support workers in the Valley have been invited back to the table.
Local 73 of the NSGEU says they received an invitation from a conciliator, along with the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education, but it doesn’t mean a new offer lined up.
Still, the union says they’ll head back to the table.
The union has been on strike since last week over unequal pay.
They say they’re hopeful striking workers in the South Shore will also be called back to the table.
Those on strike include Early Childhood Educators, administration and I.T. staff.
A rally is taking place outside the Legislature this morning.
