A home in Lawrencetown is a total loss after an overnight fire, according to the fire union in Halifax.
Halifax Professional Fire Fighters say in a post on X, they responded to the call on Michelle Drive around 12:30 a.m., Wednesday.
Members arrived to find the house fully engulfed and began “defensive operations immediately”.
A nearby forest and garage were spared.
Crews worked through the night.
No word on any injuries or what may have caused the fire.
