It might be a good idea to hold off on filling up your vehicle’s fuel tank, according to an industry source.

Regular self-serve gasoline and diesel prices are expected to fall by around four cents per litre on Thursday night.

Maximum prices currently hover at around $1.48 per litre for regular self-serve and $1.46 per litre for diesel.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.45 to $1.49 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.41 and $1.45 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.51 per litre, diesel costs around $1.50 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.11 per litre.
