Section of trail closed along McVicar Creek - (Supplied via City of Thunder Bay)

A portion of the multi-use trail beside McVicar Creek is temporarily closed due to erosion following recent rainfall.

The city sent out a public service announcement about the closure on Friday afternoon.

The section of trail impacted is between Court Street and Algoma Street.

The city is asking that you avoid the area and use an alternate route.

There is currently no estimate on when the section of trail will reopen.
